The only thing that doesn´t really make sense for me right now is how the Succession War arc would influence any of the Dark Continent stuff, maybe it's just to serve as a distraction? But knowing Togashi he probably has a big game plan to make it all relevant somehow. I honestly don't know how or if Togashi is going to circumvent Gon's lack of Nen, but this is what I think might probably happen. Once Gon, Killua and everbody else knows about what happened they have no choice but to fight for survival thus reintroducing Gon in the plot of the story. This way Gyro would kind of be seen as the ultimate villain while everybody else has to fight for survival, maybe even Ging and a couple of other people die on this trip. We know that Gyro ultimately wants the demise of mankind, but at the same time probably doesn't have the power to do so or else he would have acted already, but now since he would have been informed in some way of the existence of the Dark Continent and the 5 calamities that were brought from there he now wants to obtain some of these disasters to annihilate mankind, and nobody expects a thing. I also believe that Gon will without a doubt still become relevant to the story at some point and will return.Ĭonsidering this and the introduction of the Dark Continent my theory is that Gyro already is without our knowledge inside the ship that is going to the Dark Continent. Official release will be on Sunday, October 23 at 8 AM PT, 11 AM ET, 5 PM CEST. Discussion about chapter 391 is not allowed outside this thread until the official release. So I remembered Gyro that was introduced in the Chimera Ant Arc and promises to be one of the best and terrifying villains of Hunter x Hunter. Keep any information, links and discussion related to chapter 391 leaks in this thread. So I've been thinking about Hunter x Hunter and future arcs for the story.
